My site is simple, but is it professional?

I would love some feedback on my site, prowriters4you.com

Its really as simple as you can get for a website, because I am not a designer. I'm curious if a business who found my site would feel comfortable with such a simple one.

Any insights are appreciated!

I think your site looks fine, only a few things I would change, on your 'about us' page there is really nothing about you add a little background about yourself or your team.

On your writings page I would add a few more odd paragraphs taken from your writing so people could get a feel of your style the 'read more' is ok but most are lazy and won't click, don't give it away just some blurbs paraphrased.

if it's is possible, I would remove the "website tonight" logo, if you want to advertise GD then sign up at Commission Junction and get paid for it.

It's a good start and remember you can't please everybody, do it your way and you always will be an Original.

Add some banner images and I think the footer is missing. Try to reduce the both pictures size.

 

I'd take away that cartoonish image, it just does not fit in with the design

I agree with the person who said that the center image was a little too cartoonish and didn't fit with the rest of the site.

Other than that, though, I thought your site was great. Well played!

 

Yes, change the logo image, otherwise looks good.

I would replace "What our clients say" with "Testimonies"
or Proove of Satisfaction

I would also add a Title to the website with important keywords.

 

Few suggestions:
1. Change menu fonts to "courier bold".
2. Add Captcha to the contact form.
3. Add rewriting in your profile too as I had seen many people looking for them.

Rest is Ok for a start-up biz, am sure with time you will have many occasions to update the design and content both. Good luck!

I think the site looks a bit bland. It just needs a bit more color but don't go overboard. Possibly larger font and some color for the title words.

 

The design is not bad but I think you should add more colors into the color scheme.

The site is good the only thing i did not liked about the site is it's banner...

suggestion:
I think the pen and the crumpled papers should look more realistic.
The yellow box in the left side should have more effects.... some thing like gradient. (also the yellow color is not nice ... maybe another yellow or orange would be better)
