    Yeah if you haven't actually done any internet marketing, there probably won't be any visitors for a long long time.

    1st: do make your website a first glance unique layout
    2nd: do create readable articles for them to read
    3rd: put images that will catch viewers attention

    What is the site about? Try making videos and upload it in YouTube. If you haven't done anything to promote you site, nothing will happen to your traffic.

    Are you talking about the site in your signature, it is a little ironical that your asking why your not getting visitors yet have a internet marketing blog. Since your site is still new write a few press releases if you would like a list my website marketing blog(in my sig) has a list of a hundred free press release sites I also go over what a press release is and how to write one. Submit a hundred free press releases and you should begin receiving hits. Also make sure to optimize your site for the keywords you want to rank high for and keep building links. You won't see alot of traffic until you become well established in your niche which can take anywhere from a couple of months to a year depending on the competitiveness of your niche. Just remember your competing against thousands to millions of webpages so don't get discouraged the only way you will see real traffic and success is if you don't give up.

    @OP:

    you might wanna try and establish a core of loyal visitors, people that would be likely to read your content and share it with others...

    you have to find your target audience and approach it carefully by congregating with them in the online forums, blogs and social networks where topics of the kind you post are being discussed.

    This way you will make yourself visible to them and hopefully they'll embrace the stuff you're posting, if of course, the content is of good quality...
