When I type The Sports Perspective in I get nothing. In order to see it I have to type my whole address http://www.thesportsperspective.com/ out. What gives?
Hi Froghat, If I'm understanding your question correctly, you're wondering why your site doesn't appear in the SERPs when you type "the sports perspective" into the MSN search bar. There are actually several things you can do to change this: 1. Have the name of your site sprinkled throughout your content - right now, the only place I can see it (other than your logo) is the title. 2. Add alt text to your logo - the SEs only know it's an image, not what it says. Alt text will change this. 3. Create backlinks from other websites with "the sports perspective" as your anchor text - this will help the SEs identify your site with its title. As far as I can see, this is pretty much a stand-alone page, with all outbound links going to other sites - creating more content pages, and following the suggestions above, should help you get ranked, as well. You are not getting your site for The Sports Perspective bcoz it is not ranking for that keyphrase. ' The Sports Perspective' and thesportsperspective are two different keyphrases
You need to get other sites to link to your site before you will see good results with the top SE's. Submit your site to directories Submit your site to more search engines Write articles etc Video de Perreo
first of all... thesportsperspective.com does seems to be opened. and apart from what i could understand from the above conversation that you want your website to be displayed when some one search for "The Sports Perspective" for that you need to work hard on the content as well as the back links of your website... also i must tell you that getting your site ranked well in MSN is not a tough game.... start focusing towards google and you could see the site in all SE (although it would take some time but i m sure it will)... all the very best...
