    Hello to all,

I am new to digital point and this is my first thread.

Can any one help me? My site is loosing the total no. of pages. I regularly upload the articles to my site. I almost upload 5-6 article to my site daily with 1.5 to 2 hrs. time difference between them. Though in the initial stages there was increase in the total no. of pages of the site, but from few days (5-7 days) the total no. of pages of the site has come to less figure. Almost 8 days back Google showed 380 pages but at present it is showing only 310 pages to my site. so can anyone help me what to do? and why it is happening?

Thanks to all of you in advance...

Hello KBurgandy and welcome to DP,

Don't worry that much about loosing pages, Google sometimes display not the current result but a previous archived crawling.

I have found my site sometimes up-to-date and sometimes displaying pages that do not exist since long time ago.

The only way to get a little more control over Google spidering is submitting a sitemap:

Submit a sitemap and make sure each page has different title, h1 and meta description tags.

I was not suggesting a paid link exchange  I just believe that links in this forum help to get google to spider your site and index more pages.

Lol maybe he knows that you are running a pyramid link exchange site.
Google one day may say: "Hand me the database of all who has signup with your pyramid scheme or we'll sue you!". After the database was handed, the sites in the database are ban for life.... The End.

    :D :D :D

I think it's because google uses different DCs and I think that it also is a tactic to make life harder for SEOs, so they cant really know what has been indexed, when and which instance of the page google is actually using to gnerate the SERP
