My site is listed with google now.......

    although its still under construction (which shouldnt be but my help bailed on me so i have to learn everything on the go...anyone wanna help ? lol )....anyway....when i type my site into google,the link comes up...and then under the link it says this....."Joomla - the dynamic portal engine and content management system."....isthere anyway to change that ?

    coz thats what ur title says

    in HTML look for <Title> tag and change your title.

    Did you install Joomla?

    Maybe you click on fantastico or any one click install at your host.

    you should try to learn more. I think you should understand "html" first before own a website

    Oh i agree.....100%.....i had a friend of mine that was going to do it all and get it going...then he backed out.....so now its left up to me....had i known i never would have bothered with it....but now i have it so theres no use in it sitting around.I AM searching,reading and everything else you can do to TRY and learn all of this stuff....thats why i ask alot of questions.

    Maybe you should hire someone from the services section of this forum to help you.

    Or look for video tutorials online.

    I suggest DIY-Do it yourself. Make a few mistake. This way u will learn better. Spoon feeding makes a person useless.

    i REALLY want to try this myself....even if i have to get people to walk me thru step by step for each process i'm working on....i'd really love to handle this myself
