My site is listed in DMOZ, can i change its url now?

    my site is listed in dmoz, but url address is about to expire so i wanted to change url name with newly bought more relevant name.
    how can i edit it in dmoz and update them that a different url will be pointing to same website.

    Go to the category it's listed in and use the "update listing" button. Just explain your reasons, and we'll take care of it when we get to it. Thanks. :)

    Sadly, there are occasional attempts to hijack ODP listings. Who'd have thought?

    It adds credibility to the update request if the old URL redirects to the new. This can either be automatic or a prominent notice on the old homepage.

    lol . Do you can afford same fee's again :)? anyway they didn't updates their directory since years , and none care , even if some of the folks from here called on the past it's actually permanently edited ... things what peoples with more than cell brains finding here breaking even self builded spam directories :)
