Anything I should do to prepare. I am using Google Adsense and don't want to get dinged for anything.

Depends if the feature story is a good one or bad one. :D

You should be fine with Adsense since the traffic will be legit.

Hope you get boatloads of traffic! Good luck!

You had better be sure your server can support the massive traffic that such exposures will give you :)

Maybe you want to reduce the ads for a while so that more people bookmark your site and you get more external links, but you'd miss out, obviously, on a few good days of earnings. Long term is better than short term though.

This URL is not loading for me. I hope the paper did not get the same URL as you gave us! :D

Edit: My detective work paid off. Here is the correct URL:

    http://njection.com/speedtrap

It would be nice to place the adsense unit right under the map. Not that this is the perfect timing for it, but down the road I would consider it.

Congrats on the awesome exposure - would be interesting to hear how many inbounds you get from these major media outlets.

These are my stats from when my site hit CNN. I only made 200 dollars each of the peak days because my adsense wasn't "tuned" at the time. Not only did it hit CNN but about 35 affiliate markets as well.
