I wake up one morning and I see my site on the first page for its main keyword, that's fantastic! I check back an hour later and it dropped to the second page, check back again a few hours later and it's back on page 1. Can someone explain to me why this is happening and what can I do to keep that spot?? I have a similar situation with another site that's bouncing around between page 3 and page 8...
i been experiencing that specially with google hopefully not that much drop and increase in keyword from 3 drop to 6 and vice versa to some of my keywords.
That happens to me all the time. I created my website in October 2007, so I really think it is a factor of it being so new. I remember that I had the top search result for "stock market 2008" for a day, then it went away, then I was like #2 a week later, now its gone. So frustrating, but just make sure that you ocntinue ot give the engines a reason to rank you higher than the rest
I am also facing same problem some of my keyword in the 1 page of google in one week ago now they are not in google serps they are completely disappear form the google serps.
It's the good old google dance. YOu'll dance in and out of the SERP's, no worries, keep building links and you'll be fine. GL
I think some people say Google switches search algorithms, to make things less easy to predict. Not sure how true it is. I'm just waiting for the newbie bait to wear off on smy site, and watch it plumet to page 40, after gettin all excited by it being on page 1 and 2.
