My site is banned from Adsense???

So I just bought a new site the other day, www.mylol.net without being informed that adsense has been banned for that domain!

The old owner said that a competing jealous webmaster went onto the site and registered multiple accounts and uploaded porn images to them all, then informed google straight away, and then google banned his adsense account, and adsense on the domain itself.

So now, even with my unbanned account, I have put ads on the page, but they just don't load up. The site has a new administration and moderation team that is very active and removes any porn or offensive images and deletes profiles before they become public, so that problem is gone. I have emailed google about it to ask what is going to happen, and I sure hope that they can unbann the domain for me, because it would be ridiculous to keep it banned for a new owner, and the site as it is now does not violate any TOS.

What do you guys think? Ever had a domain banned?

the ads have been on for 4 days now, enough time for spiders to crawl. The exact same ad code works when hosted on a different server under a different domain name.

no, of course they aren't becuase google are the only people to offer these types of contectual adverts... but if your suspended from google what else can you use?

Have set up bidvertiser this afternoon - out of 20 impressions have had 1 click @ $0.18 so its better than nothing at all :)

the site has been banned for over a year now, so i think they would have unbanned it by now. It's weird because it's a fresh adsense account, im the new owner so it's got nothing to do with his adsense anymore, yet its still banned. All subdomains are banned as well.

Google adsense team have their database on banned sites. So if the domain of that site is not deleted in their database, then definitely you can't put an ads on that site.

If you're banned, leave it. Go for Adbrite or something else.
