    Hi,

My site's index pages, even the front index page got deleted about 3 weeks ago. And now, When I do a site:mydomain.com and it shows that I have 131 pages indexes on Google. The weird thing was that I didn't see my home page indexed.

Any idea? Was my site get ban or sandbox by Google?

    My site is http://mulyrics [dot]com

    Thank you for your helps.

It sometime happen to others, but I haven't experience this... I guess this is about how you do your link building strategy. What url your are submitting to google? I see that the index page is not even cached at all. Try to build link using the home page as landing page and not inner pages.

Only reason, is there are thousands of site hosting lyrics, your pages are one of them, duplicate content. So may be your are being panelised by google for duplicate content. If you want to get out of it, try getting as many backlinks as possible.

If you have read this forum lately you will see this similar issues happened to every websites regardless how authority status it is. I would recommend you do not panic or pay too much attention into the issue. It cannot be fixed even with deep link building for now, like I throught it was. The fluctuated in indexed page is go up-down all the times, so you de-indexed will become indexed again anyway. :)

Happening to many sites too but if your traffic and serp ranking is much affected too then you definitely need to build strong backlinks now plus fresh content for Google bots to see new things and freshly index you site.

A lot of webmasters are recently talking about these issues as their web pages getting dropped and they may return in the near future. As long as the overall status of the sites is in good shape and the domains powered by links and receiving traffic, there is nothing to worry about.

you can use meta tag to for your pages to be removed from only google
    <META NAME="GOOGLEBOT" CONTENT="NOARCHIVE">
which removed such page from Google from next crawling of it
if you need to remove urgently before crawling by google, you can use RL removal request tool

    Hi, bestbuck

I think it might be the JS detection and auto redirection feature on your home page prevents your homepage from indexing.

    Have a nice day,

Google won't show every page it knows about. Quite odd that your homepage would be considered as insignificant that it wouldn't show. Check for any spam, clear it off. see if it returns. Maybe be safe and send a resubmission request afterwards.

Or, if it is caffeine, it'll be back.

Have you logged into Google Webmaster Tools to see how many pages it's saying are indexed by Google? It's free to use and can help quickly diagnose problems like what you're describing.

It says 263 indexed. Thanks for all the responses, maybe I should wait to see since they have a new layout updated recently.

This is odd, normally your home page will be indexed for sure.

You can also search Google for your pages by searching for
    site:yourdomainname.com
That should show you all the pages Google has indexed...

Maybe this is just a fluctuation in Google. Don't worry to much. Your home will be index soon.
