My site has very low rank in Google

I started a affiliate site in Feb 1. First month i did not build any links. I just wrote lots of articles. Till now my site has around 200 articles. I start building links from 2nd month. I only get backlinks from Same niche sites. Now i have lots of backlinks but my site SERP is very very bad. It is in 800th place in Google (first it was in 500th position). I daily update my site with fresh articles. Sites with less number of articles (less than 50), but my site don't got. Please help me with this.

First thing I would ask is, how tough is the niche you are trying to break into? What is the current top 10 in Google like? How competition is there for your chosen keywords at the moment?

It is possible that you may have chosen a niche which is just too competitive and will be almost impossible to rank in the top ten because of existing sites that are just too strong. I would look into this firstly. If you can give us a bit more info, that would be good also

it is a competitive keyword... but my site is very low rank (800+)... eventhough my site has lots of backlinks and articles...

 

increase your website back links for getting better index position in Google.

 

If it was that easy... You can't expect miracle after two months!

 

You should own the exact match domain if the keyword is competitive. You can make some necessary on-page optimizations as well.

There are several reasons for low ranking like age of the domain name, keywords, content, backlinks.

 

I think you should build more links. If you are using automated software to submit articles i suggest you start submitting manually, do social bookmarking and more of forum posting. Also, check your on page optimization and see how ell you have done it.

 

have you posted all of your articles within a month? do you think that all of your articles are quality made articles? If you do and think that all of the articles are of high quality should focus now on making quality links. but if not I think you should go back on checking the things that you had posted or something. That's just my opinion though.

 

You need to build quality backlinks.
Try to put links in those sites which are related to your niche and have a high pr value.
