My site has simply disappeared.

I was ranked between 8th and 15th for 'Free gadgets' for weeks and all of a sudden I have disappeared from the rankings altogether. I cannot find myself in the index at all.

Are google updating some servers or does it look like i am banned. I haven't done anything to get myself banned as far as I know.

It is my Goodies4free site. The other site dropped from 2nd to 5th but this is acceptable

    it is goodies4free.net

I can still find some indexed pages for it but it has just dropped out of all the rankings for the keywords it was previously ranked well for.

Your site is new. It's common to have a short rankings boost and then completely drop out. Keep building quality backlinks and give it time. Some niches take a year for highly competitive keywords.

This happens to many new sites. They show up in the good spots in search engines in the beginning and drop drastically, sometimes even disappear. However, first make sure that your site is disappeared or not by using this position finder tool. You can enter the keywords you wish to see your site indexed for and find out where it is positioned, if at all.

If it says that it cannot find your site, chances are your site has been sandboxed or penalized. You can do some research on how to get your site unbanned, or read a few pointers here about what is sandbox and what you can do to avoid it.

My site has also indexed at the top for keyword "fantastic beaches".
It will probably be disappeared soon.
Even though I am at the top, I just 2 or 3 clicks daily.
I think whole world is not interested in beaches.

checked your site SERPs page rank
found your site top SERPs are not listed in .ca .uk .in .com .cn ..... but went to other countries.

question : where is your site located?

This sounds like the dreaded "sandbox" Work hard on building backlinks and soon enough you will return.

I don't think your site is banned...this is called Google dance and this happens to most sites.Just build some backlinks and submit a sitemap again and your site will be back!

Do n't worry it will take a couple of weeks to come back again in Top20 or so..

Do n't do anything that may be against the terms of Google to force your site into SERPS..(black hat techniques and aggressive link buying)

Google does this to give new sites a chance, nothing much you can do but to start link building

if your site is new then the earlier ranking was just a initial 5 mins fame that google gives to all new sites....
so now all you can do is build some very good quality links and wait for big G to notice you. :)

BTW what is the age of your site..?

Usually there's a temporary boost given to newly indexed web content. As time passes by, the ranking will start to drop - unless something is done to improve the website (more incoming links, added contents)
