My site has been dropped from google for almost all search terms?

hi guys, so after having gotten my traffic up to around 50 visits a day I have hit a huge road block. I don't know what has happened but every keyword that was generating me any kind of traffic has just been dropped. I mean I was ranking 11th for infamous 2 preview and now I don't think I will be ranking in the top 500!

I don't understand what has happened!!? I mean its a game blog and can't possibly be seen as a MFA site. So how come I got so thoroughly strung up by google?

    Site: http://gamercity.co.uk

please check it out and tell me what you think. Also I took of every ad on my site and also updated the cache so it is now a lot faster.

One problem that I read up on this morning was that it could be a duplicate content error as my site is currently ranked for www.gamercity.co.uk and not just gamercity.co.uk which is how my site is set up. So I'm guessing that it could possibly be a duplicate content problem.

    What do you guys think?

Any help would be very kind!

Thanks but I am pretty sure its not my seo that i need to work on. Its got to be a problem with something else though.

For instance I ranked on the first page for a keyword up until last friday and then boom I am not ranking for it AT ALL! I had been ranking for that keyword since about the start of 2009.

    Any other suggestions?

I was reading up on this and it could very well be the duplicate content trap. I am in the process of sorting it as we speak and moving my whole site from http://gamercity.co.uk to http://www.gamercity.co.uk and making sure that my webmaster account takes it as www. preferred. Also I changed my wordpress settings to include the www. and add the archive pages to the robots.txt file so that they wont rank duplicate content. Hopefully this will fix it! :D

If you don't have enough backlinks to keep your rankings, then of course you'll drop down.
Are you using Google Webmaster tools? It can provide you with some information on your indexed pages, and also; rankings.

The fact remains without backlinks, your site won't rank well.

your site looks good, have you done anything fishy? like comment spam links?

If you haven't done any black hat then I would just wait and see your results in few days.

Try to gain additional backlinks for your webpage using your preferred anchor text.
