My google toolbar is showing my site as a PR3 now, but digirank is showing some G servers with a 4 and some with a 3? So...does that mean that I'm going from a 4 to a 3? I've only had a 4 for about a week.... Also, one of my other sites had a PR3 and PR4 link, and they're now showing a PR0...
How long did it take you to get that rank? My website just got a PR 2 rank after 3 months up. (www.VancouverComputers.info).
My PR3 site only took a month. lol. I did some sweet talking to a PR6 and PR5 site to add me to their blogroll. My PR4 blog took 6 months.
It usually does unless you catch it a month before a PR update....and with a PR5, and PR6 backlink, it doesn't take long to get indexed.....
I have one pr7 link and several other good links, interesting, do you host your blogs on your own top domains?
Maybe G is going to correct some of the goofy PR changes people received. Hopefully your 4 comes back...
All of my sites have rolled back to the PR they had before last fridays tool bar export. A PR bailout if you will.
ohhhh god ive heard it all now.. Google "PR bailout bill" designed for webmasters in economic distress laterz malcolm
I wonder if the PR Google exported last Friday was actually their internal PR. Seems a lot of people with new pages got PR.
There seems to have been a minor PR update. One of my 20 sites, which I checked now, is down to PR0 from PR2. I haven't seen anyone reporting an increase in PR so far. I guess the sites which have lost PR today might have been penalized by Google. Just my 2 cents
No, the PR has been rolled back to its previous state. Atleast on all the sites I monitor that is the case...
The one which has gone from PR2 to PR0 was PR2 before the update. Infact it was a PR2 for over 6 months. So, atleast for me, PR has not rolled back to its previous state.
Hopefully everyone's right and its just a problem with internal pr getting leaked on accident a bit early. Although I'm always a bit worried as technically each day it should be harder to keep a site at a high pr due to the way the algorithim works and the amount of new sites generated daily. Skim the wiki pagerank article to see what I mean.
