I have never paid attentions to PR..so i have very less knowledge about them. My site has a PR4.. how can i benefit my other sites using that? My other sites have PR0.. how can i benefit from the PR4 website so their PR can be higher aswell? Also will it affect my current PR4 by helping out the other websites? and does it matter what kind of site i am helping? (games site, videos site, wallpapers site, etc) Thanks.
You can add a link of PR 0 sites in the PR 4 sites so that when Google updates the PR , chances are that your PR 0 sites rank may be incresaed Tehmina
Yes by linking to your PR0 site from your PR4 website, you should be able to increase the PR of the PR0 website. You do need to be careful about how much you cross link your own websites though. Some websites go overboard with this and end up getting penalized by the search engine. I personally avoid cross linking my own websites to play it safe. Don't worry too much about PR though. It's rankings that are important and PR doesn't translate directly into rankings.
Use PayPerPost.com. They like to have high pr site to be in their side. You can get advertisers to make a sponsored post.
Yes. you can link to your other sites from PR4 site...but, if those sites are not related to the PR4 site niche, it can hurt you.
To be on the safe side, just make some reference links in the "about me section" saying that this is part of your collection of sites that you have. They definitely won't penalize if you do that.
No, no it can't. Having irrelevant links does not hurt you at all. You can link to your other sites and you will benefit, though very marginally as the other sites are probably irrelevant, and also hosted on the same C Class.
Only add links if your both sites are niche related or otherwise their is no use of adding links . That will not give any benefit to you but may be your pr4 can get bad effect .
Yep you're right it can't hurt you, google understands that you have no control over sites that link to you. If it could hurt you then competitors would be doing this all the time just to hurt your rankings. Also sites like the New York times have millions of links from irrelevant sites and it makes no difference.
Exactly right. Too many people are spreading this misinformation that inbound links from certain sites can hurt you. They can't!
If your site is on different hosts, than it can help, but if they are the same ip, than it won't help much
Be Careful Mate! The Link Structure of your site(s) is very important and powerful thing. Having a PR4 site means you can direct that "juice" to wherever you want. So like linking to other sites (without nofollow) is a bit silly idea. Linking inside your PR4 site is cool, you can dominate niches with a PR4 site. Linking to other sites or yours for that matter won't hurt you, but Google is pretty Smart so it will mean less then it would when you used it inside that site. You can "trick" Google, though I won't suggest that.. it's too much hassle (you need to be on a different C class IP, with different domain holders, you shouldn't have any Google Service record the same (like analytics or Adwords))
you can link to your other sites BUT you must put other sites in different c-class ips than the PR4 one. that will be the best way to get most benefit from making own PR network. I would say you can get 5$/month or more easily. just try to sell it in Links sales section or you can compare the price there with other site' prices.
I'm saying it'll hurt the PR4 site.. not those PR0 sites (I said in so many threads that we can't control the incoming links.. I know that)
