Yeah, ADSDAQ is good network if you filter out all the Weight Loss and Make Money Scams. Everything else is premium advertisers. Lately nobody else can beat their fill rates for the price.

To OP: If you apply and they deny you. Give them a call on the phone. You'll be accepted.

I like Infolinks for intext advertising. I just limit it to 2-3 links per page.

I'm not sure what your niche is so I can only give general advice.

First, focus on original content in your niche. Stick to your niche.

Second, have a regular update schedule. If you're updating irregularly it's hard to build an audience.

Third, once you have a regular update schedule (once a week? once a day?) make a post that people can react to. This is a cheap shot, but do a list in your niche. People can react to those since everyone has personal favorites.

Thanks a bunch for the ADSDAQ idea. :D This was eyeopening. I wasn't aware they existed and getting 1.50 CPM isn't bad. It's not as good as the premium ad company, but it's a solid second performer.

Have you tried using Tribal Fusion or AOL's Platform A? When tweaking my ad chain I tried Burst, but I was getting less than 0.50CPM and the fill rate was dismal. ValueClick is at the bottom of my chain.

Geotargeting ads is a brilliant idea too. I should look into that further too.

Is Kontera giving a good CPM or should I say CPC rate?

I played with contextual ads awhile ago. Vibrant Media seemed to offer better rates, but it's been a long time since I used either of them.

Thanks for the TTZ link. :)

I use valueclick, tribal, burst, casale ..all of the top cpm networks. adsdaq is the best because you can set your own CPM with the caveat that a high CPM will affect fill rates. I found the sweet spot at $1.50, but you can very well set a CPM of $5 and and probably get like 5-10% fill. Tribal, Burst and Casale all perform around the same, I get around 0.50CPM from them with an average 30% fill.

It's very strange to have a blog with 200K+ unique visitors a month and you don't know how to monetize.

I say that you try other affiliates and just experiment with ad placements.

Clickbank has some good affiliates you can use, look for one with high grav. when you search for a product.

Put some tech products on there simply get some dropshippers I use one that has banners etc but they only

pay like 6% per order so better off putting your markup on the products and get paid directly to paypal

with 200,000 a uniques a month even if you only sold to 10% with a $10 markup thats $200,000 a month

which it should products like mp4 players, digital cameras, projecters, anything techy

if you couldnt be bothered to set it up yourself I'll do it all for ya and pay ya 50% which is 100k....

That's a good way to build traffic, and that will in turn bring in more money. But it sounds like he's already got the traffic angle down pretty well...heh.

I usually get 1-6 cents per click. Of course, on a normal day I only get 100 or less uniques...I'm building mine organically.

On that note, I wrote a post about this thread last night and put it on my blog. It's been spreading around pretty well. As of 8 AM, that post has pulled in almost as much traffic as I get on a normal day! :D

    Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks for the information on Infolinks. :)

I'll look into it and consider in-text advertising again. Do your visitors find them annoying? Personally, I'm not a fan of them since they depreciate the user experience.

I guess so, but I focused on creating content not monetizing the site from the beginning which is why I came to Digital Point.

Sell it to me, and you'll be paid handsomely. =)
Try different banner adds companies, some pay better.

    Try putting cpa offers.

What kind of banners are you talking with ?
Try to combine adsense + banners + affiliates ....

Entertainment is a low paying niche ..

I serve them to Search Engine and referral traffic only. So it doesn't make much, but enough to pay for 3 servers :D
I go back and forth between Infolinks and Kontera, which ever one is paying the best at the time.

I was IM'ing with one of my readers yesterday. She needed 4 advertisers on her site. She contacted about 15 of them on other sites and Google Adwords. Voila, she got her 4 advertisers.

I guess it is rocket science to some, so they don't do this.
