    A similar situation with my blog (wordpress)
    Be broken because of full of holes template....

    It helped only download the latest dump. have a dump?

    When website is hacked then you can recover from your hosting. Most of the hackers usually make changes to the index file, if you can find out your old index file you can remove the new one and can get your site back.

    If you are not getting your old index file and database has been deleted so you can ask for your backup to hosting provider.

    You have your website backup..then you can hire a developer.....Developer will help you in this situation ;)
