my site dissapears/reapears/disapears in the SERP's

    Hi,

Past Tuesday I noticed that my Google traffic suddenly stopped. I was worried the whole day and night, but when I woke up Wednesday morning everything was alright again.

Today, strange as I think it is, I seem to have the same problem. My site just doesn't show in Google for some (not even so competitive) keywords.

How can this be explained, I don't believe that my site is subject to a Google penalty.

    Thanks,

    Giorgio

That was normal to search engine. It happen to me sometimes but will come back again. Sometimes you see the result from different datacenter that's why you see also different report.

    Yes,

I had the same in mind. But how can it be explained that about 90% of my traffic from Google is missing in my stats? This must be some major data center then.

It happens for everyone of us. Due to fluctuations in SERP, traffic can also variate.

    maintain your rankings

You can search multiple datacenters here http://www.mcdar.net/dance/index.php

There has been some updates going on in the last week. One of my sites lost its top position but back now.

    i get this quite regular.

iot seems to happen for newer sites mostly but i have heard people say older sites suffer too.

something to do with the info not being passed to every data center properly.

try submitting a sitemap to G if you have not already and see if it propogates better.

That is very normal, just if you noticed that your position fluctuated, start doing SEO and monitor it from time to time. :D

Everything is back to normal now. Pfew, it was a crucial moment when it happened, but I am very glad that it didn't remain missing in the SERP's.

    Back to SEO-ing now :)

    I appreciate the help,

It's normal even for older sites that are trying to rank for new keywords. I ignore and stay the coarse. As long as you are not trying to "trick" the SE you will rise to you natural position.

Add more contents to your site and more quality links... Link to related sites...

That's natural 'coz SEs change their algorithm from time to time...:)

Everything seemed fine, I actually saw a lot more traffic the past few days.

But..... today it happened again. Phrases where I had top position, "gratis poker geld" for instance si totally nowhere in the SERP's.

I am positive tomorrow it will be back, but I think this is very frustrating since I am not sure if this is my fault or just Google.

OK, well at least the answers make me relax about it. Although it costs me quite some traffic, there're still some visitors left. :)

    Thanks again for the help.
