I have recently started a new site design and before I continue any futher (although I like the design so far) I wonderd if anyone had any recommendations of what could possibily be different? If any. Before you reply please remember that the site has NOT been coded yet obviously nor has it been centered, I will leave that to the coders. Im currently working on the Design only right now. Will be looking for someone to convert it to HTML soon too, PSD to HTML. Got quite a few more pages left but eventually. I think it's pretty good. The body of text in the middle could do with a round edged box with the same or a lighter colour of blue as is on the top and bottom to give it a more complete feel. You could do with changing the font type of the same body of text and maybe putting in a picture as well. Apart from that, looks pretty neat. I only visited the first link by the way, but I like what I see.
i really love the design and live user above said a bold logo would make it even better but the domain name is little too long from my point of view.
I really appreciate all the wonderful comments and suggestions! I will try add something in in terms of a logo soon! Regards of the Domain name as Gafadi mentioned it being too long. I personally believe its just about right but I can understand why you'd think its too long however the whole site idea once released will make things seem clear and the name will be undersood! I just started on a new page (Search). Not finished yet but wonderd what you all thought of it. http://www.wheresyourduckbeen.co.uk/search.html All the boxes at the bottom would be filled with the search results (images). I just put in the boxes for examples of where they would appear or I could code it in for the images to appear ontop of those boxes so they are presented nicely with the colours behind them etc. Would like to know what you think of it and any sugesstions. Great looking design, and I like the idea! Best of luck with it. If I had one thing to change, I would use a light green background instead of a yellow one to let people know all fields have been filled in correctly. Yellow tends to be more of a warning flag, when submitting forms. Other than that - great job.
