You would be very lucky if your site were actually related to the ad, so you could convert the traffic to your own sales or sign-ups. Only in a perfect world, huh?

Did Google say they were going to notify the AdWords account holder? It seems to me that it would be Google's duty to alert this company or individual that they are paying for clicks, which point to a web site belonging to someone else. I mean, this is clearly a mistake, and should be remedied. However, it is up to us, as advertisers to check and double-check our destination URL's, and landing pages.

I am interested to see how long this is allowed to persist. Please keep updating.

I have checked on spyfu.com, number of paid keyword is ........ 1220.

    For example :
    accountants supply house
    cell phone plans verizon
    child car seat covers
    audio engineer jobs
    cable service providers
    buy automobile
    bearings inc
    chicago hotels discount
    check credit report
    cheap printer

Landing page is only the same - main page. They asked me to send a screenshots. I have received a reply from Adwords team. They said it is not my ads displaying and other advertiser advertise the destination url. My account is not charged.
Then I asked is this someone mistake or not, they said cannot reply cause of commercial secret.

    What do you think?

One reason for this is that the Google keyword tools are so laughably inaccurate that anybody trying to work out the economics of a particular PPC niche before launching into it with building a website etc has absolutely no credible data to crunch numbers with.

I can easily see that I would point a paid ad at a site (any site, who cares) to see what the metrics are relating to real number of impressions you might get in a particular keyword space, the real position your ad could reach for a certain price and the CTR – there is no way to do this from what Google tells you with its tools.

This may be sinister and strange but equally it could just be someone testing the water on a market they are considering entering.
