My site appearing in Google Adwords and I don't know why

This is strange story. It started 2 or 3 weeks ago. At first I thought it is are fake visitors from top sites (google.com, business.com, about.com). I have checked via proxy site (proxify.com) and noticed that my site is promoted via adwords, but keywords are not related to my site (for example "water softeners" or "heating systems") I noticed also that url is showing on many parked domains with adwords sponsored links.

Then I go to keywordspy and spyfu to see any paid keywords for this site. There is no paid keywords, only organic keywords.

I have adwords account, but currently I don't use it.

Isn't strange? I really don't know what to think about it ........

It's possible that another company is using your domain name as the destination URL by accident, although this would only happen in the case that the two domains were very similar.

I'm not sure. Could you show me a screenshot of your URL appearing in an ad?

most likely its an error that someone put in the wrong URL. i've had a few clients do this before, you would be surprised on how often it will happen

at the same time, i would try and find out what the ads are. ive had a few people in the past who wanted to run some campaigns with their competitors URLs with really bad ad copy in hopes that it would hurt them with a poor quality score when they would do their own adwords campaigns... people these days are getting more cut throat

put off the campaign man. do it first, maybe you will see a good looking bill from adwords, the credit card attached may also be forged. it is risky, immediately inform google.

why allow others campaign to run on your account ? Inform google immediately. If you are planning to put your own adwords campaign on the same account, your account may already get blaclisted even before you enter your own campaign.

    Hope you understand it. :)

Are you actually getting traffic from adwords or just ads with your destination url showing?

I think you are lucky because your site is promoted by others :D but I am sure it is a mistake, may be your domain name is slightly the same by characters with him.
