Okay, I just read over here on DP that, the backlink from a particular domain will gets indexed only once for any other link coming from a same IP or same websites subpages! Means, if I am getting a backlink from xyz.com then the link coming from xyz.com/abc or abc.xyz.com doesn't matters for google! Is it true??? And if it is then why we believe in getting backlinks from xyz.blogspot.com or xyz.wordpress.com???
No, it is not true. I have hundreds of backlinks from different forums for example, and they are shown/reported in WebMasterTools. What you are referring to is the theory that PR does not pass from from all pages. Some years ago, Google adjusted the algo so that people buying site-wide links would see little or no advantage of 1000 links versus a few. But those links look very different. They are normally 2 or 3 keywords, no surrounding content, and other similar links surrounding it, normally footer links or sidebar links. So the theory is very specific to site-wides and very different from what you describe.
as long as it has the same ip address and / or the same domain name - than it will not treat it as a different source.
It is not like the backlinks from the same site will not be counted by Google. If the website is going to generate multiple pages and your links are updated in the multiple pages, Google will initially consider all these backlinks and list in the backlinks results. However, based on the quality of the page Google may drop several instances of your backlinks from the same site (inner pages). If these inner pages are of real quality pages the backlinks will be considered by the Google.
If google count a sitewide link as one backlink, and let's say that you get 10,000 backlinks in a week from that one site. Would google penalize you for that? Or would that be okay since it's only considered one backlink? Anybody know this?
but tell me if google doesn't count the backlinks from same IP for more than say a particular amount of back links! So does every blog opened in blogger has a different IP? because if someone start doing link building in only wp and blogspot then it should be a waste of time because I don't think google has separate IP for each single subdomain (since you get address in format of xyz.blogspot.com so it's a subdomain)! I am confused in this! if the fact that same IP backlinks can't be counted then why a special treatment by google to blogger, wp, blog.com etc?
How can I SEO a site to page one from the same IP address then? And, have it stay there over a year? I don't buy that logic.
