Thats a great Idea, I have seen websites employ this strategy already. A Fuel comparison website offers these for free so people just get them to stick on their car windscreens so people see it and then visit their website!

    Whatever strategy works!

    However I think I have a stranger story. =)

Once while browsing ebay, I came across a Las Vegas street magician who was selling advertising space on his forehead. He had done this previously, and his other auctions sold for a few hundred dollars. I'm still not sure what caused it, but when I looked it was at .99 and had like 15 minutes left.

I placed a bid and won the auction for .99! He messaged me and asked me what I wanted him to write on his forehead. I told him to put the URL of my website. After 3 weeks I think I received maybe two visitors.

LoL, funny stuff, but for 99 cents it was worth a shot!

Would you mind saying what kind of traffic boost you got? I've always wondered how many people see these then visit people's sites, especially if it's a 'brand' which isn't well known.

Well, I suggest the site is non-commercial.

    The best one is comical/humorous.

let put it this way, as the way things are, everyone needs Good Karma and it is FREE!!

Cool. I wonder how it would do with a logo above the url. How hard would it be to remove if you decide to? Obviously you're going to leave yours on because it looks good and is working.

Seen ads like that before, I may not have personally visited an ad I saw on a car, but one thing I know is I *ALWAYS* try to get near the car where I can read it...

If I was interested in what it said I would most likely visit.

I may try this strategy myself once I get my site going.

Seen a few of these out. Some cars actually have the whole car sponsored by a company.

I advertised my mustang site with a decal on my car (a mustang, obviously) and it got a jump of about 5-10 people day who were type-ins. It's not a bad way to advertise, because a lot of people are bored in traffic, and get curious by the time they get home.

I have a bumpersticker on my car. I'm not sure how effective it is but the sticker is cheap.

Did you give thought into getting custom door magnets made for your car? I've seen people do that on occasion.
