    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

My side to the story, a clarification.

No you don't understand. The way it works is kind of like a affiliate scheme. We're employed but paid on commission. So this twit tried to gain links to HIS site (to feed the main sites) but got MY sites banned by doing so.

So if a affiliate had done the same thing would the company be banned? It's my fault, I told him about dp as it is the sucess to my sites...

Of course not... unless of course maybe that affiliate used the same emails, same passwords, same IPs, etc.

Right. So you have the same employer... take up the issue of lost revenue with him. Your entire organization bears the blame.

Right. So stop acting like a poor victim of circumstance. You knew what was happening and you let it continue. Your lack of action put you in the situation you are in, not an unjust "witch hunt" that accuse those of us who are voting to keep you out.

I agree with Nitin's post 100%. There are enough grey areas as it is. Sounds like your gripe is with your "colleague". In the co-op, you give more than you get. It is all about the community. No room for cheaters or their colleagues with the same password, IP's and virtually identical email addresses.

Don't you think I have better things to do with my time then vote 12 times! I voted once, just like I listed my site once in the network.

Its obvious you are always looking for ways to cheat the system, but I am not.

I voted no, because your 'friend' took my hard earned work and tried to pass it off as his work. I am personally hurt by it and thus have a personal attachment.

Shawn started the poll to see what the group thinks. I am just one person, one vote, one person that was cheated by your friend.

    Good luck with everything.

I bet you are. But you knew before he did it, or at least before you got caught doing it. Either way, you are an accomplice to the crime, thus guilty, IMO.

I'm not a member of the Co-op community yet, I will hopefully be soon, but if I had the right to vote with the evidence included here I'd certainly not let the individual company / people rejoin the community.

You let one person get away with it - others follow.

I have to say, that my perception has changed somewhat.

I don;t think that there could possibly be this many coincidences(sp.?!?) in a real life situation (The password thing in particular)...

Coupled with the fact that I have looked through your sites and Have found no mention of someone called andrew, I've gotta say - I just don't believe you man...

Yet earlier you wrote "I have a few different passwords that are used on a regular basis (That my colleagues use when working on things I have told them about and wish to control)."

Why don't you believe me - I'm in the same boat as you.

I'm not going to find an answer to every nit pick....Andrew is new to the company, convienient? No it's true.

Hey even the legal system has injustices.....

I have known the people I work with for years and years.

I would not have trusted any passwords that I use on a regular basis with them unless I know they could be trusted (The same applies to them telling me the passwords they use).

I tend to agree... While so many coincides are mathematically possible, they aren't very probable. Would be nice if there just was a way to confirm for certain if there is an Andrew or not.

i also voted to not allow you to participate (only once)

i also agree regarding the passwords, i never share my passwords with ANYONE.
Even if you are telling the truth, this should be a valuable lesson.

It's not POSSIBLE for anyone to vote more than once, so we can shoot down the idea that anyone voted more than once right now.

    Or a proxy server.....

I give up, no-one is listening. I didn't give my password out....

    Hey guys,
I work with Fira, I dont know much about the coop network and the website stuff (been out of it for sometime) but hes not kidding when he says that it is making a big effect on us because of one employees, rather stupid, mistake.
He is sincere in most of his efforts to reinstate himself as a member of Digitalpoint, I can back up most of what he has said so far, we use generic company passwords and also have access to each others email accounts to spread the workload as well, whether he has mentioned that yet, i'm not so sure.
I sympathize with you Rustybrick for him deciding to use your website as a victim but I believe if you talk to Fira, you will understand that he is sorry, regardless of not being directly involved.
