Hey I didn't create the account, I'm only going on what im told.
Correct, I lost the password to that account and I was at home, hence not having access to that account, hence me creating this account (ROT13 of Sven is Fira) - not hiding anything here...
    He doesn't, or shouldn't.

And woaaaah, where's your privacy policies? I don't want my email addresses public thanks.

Sorry! That user has specified that they do not wish to receive emails. If you still wish to send an email to this user, please contact the administrator and they may be able to help.

It doesn't show it for me...

Then you just turned it off, because I verified before I posted that both Fira and Sven had it enabled.

I do apologise, I've just turned it off. I swear I had.

Either way I'm requesting those email addresses are removed, please.

This is turning into a witch hunt which isn't going to help any of us.

I've said my piece, you obviously don't beleive me. It's true. What am I supposed to do?

Hey .... this smacks of ADA and its from the same neck of the woods... I would, if you asked me for my gut feel, say these hail from that very same company.

Either way, the actual email address itself really isn't the point, so I'll change my original post to not include the domains.

    What is ADA?

    Thank you.

Just a comment AND PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS THE WRONG WAY.

Surely you leave yourself wide open with the ad network. And the privacy policy...?

There are no terms and conditions, it doesn't say anywhere what you can and cannot do. Someones account gets pulled and they sue for loss of business/earnings....

As I've said don't take this the wrong way, I have no intention of doing this and indeed don't have the energy or the money.

I think that would be giving too much credit to ADA. For one to figure out a loophole, and secondly to even see value in the ad network. The ADA folks don't strike me as being all that Internet savvy.

The mechanics are listed, but I don't see an Andrew. :)

What you can do is listed in the FAQ and setup instructions. I'm not going to write a document listing every possible thing you can't do. It could be an infinite number of pages. Do I really need to list things like, "You are not allowed to hack CNN's website and run ad network ads on it.", etc. That kind of goes without saying I think. Same for trying to get weight credit for a site you have absolutely no affiliation with or control of adding the ads to it. Again, seems like common sense to me.

If you feel you need to sue me for taking away your privileges for use a free network, feel free, it would be a If you look around this forum hard enough, you will see that I've successfully defended myself in a court in other (even less idiotic) suits.

The ad network participation is not a right, it's a privilege.

I would politely request this is removed. Yes it's available on the net, on domain whois that doesn't mean I want it available in a public forum. Funny phonecalls at 1am? Thanks.

Polite sensible mature people are welcome to give me a call, I'll happiliy discuss and clear this up.

Check the last modified header. It's very outdated. Indeed try calling Emma, Kathryn, Natalie or Wayne. All of whom have left the company. Hell the whole domain has errors all over it, it's VERY outdated. Check the google cache, I aint just put them there.....

Look this is going nowhere, I say I didn't you say I did.

Arguing about it isn't helping either of us.

I made it clear it wasn't my intention, I'm just pointing something out.

I'll assume it's not since you brought it up, but I can't say for certain because I didn't write the domain down before it was deleted.

This seems too ridiculous to me.

I voted to keep all these domains out of the network and after re-reading all these threads related to this, I am even more steadfast in my beliefs on this.

It doesn't matter to me if this was your colleague or not. You work for the same organization and so there is noone else to blame. Your organization tried to cheat a system that has been generously created as a FREE tool for the entire community. SEO has lots of shades of gray in terms of what is ethically and morally "right" and personally, I think I tend to be on the darker shade of the specrum than most here. IMO there is no doubt what your organization has done here is "wrong" no matter how you slice it.

But, the one thing that really, really gets under my skin is when someone does something dishonest to cheat other members of our own community.

Do you really have any comprehension of the impact of this type of action? I don't think you have a clue. It is hard enough for people to have the trust and cooperative spirit to share invaluable knowledge and insight in this competitive arena. Places like DP where a community comes together and REAL information is shared openly are rare and hard to come by.

Lucklily Shawn was the one that caught on to this and so the integrity of his community has, I believe, not been underminded. But, by your actions, it could have been. Cheating and dishonest people such as those from your organization have the potential to take away so much more than $200 (or $2000 for that matter) from this community. I just don't think you get it.
