In my All in One SEO Pack I have copied and pasted my different SEO descriptions inside Google but they are not being indexed. For an example take this blog posting: (as this was our SEO description as you can view this information on our "View Source" if that can help you any) SEO Description: We got in our metal plate that was made using our company fonts and logos and we are stamp crazy stamping anything in our way. Maybe we will get a tattoo, not! Blog posting: http://www.surfimages.com/blog/2012/09/27/a-little-branding/ What are we doing wrong here? Thanks, Jack
Hmm. Would likely have to crawl in there and take a look but at a glance the template is grabbing the post description or auto generating one and all in one seo pack is throwing one in there as well. You have 2 of them. You may have all in one seo set to autogenerate description tags or something but that is a bit of a quandry but hard to suss out with out hopping in there. As a general rule you want default all in one dealing with the home page only and then use all in one on the post/page editor under the editor for page specific stuff. Nigel
Nigel is correct there. I use Infinite SEO (You can get it here: http://tinyurl.com/ct9ogya ) which doesn't give me that problem because it's a well built plugin allowing proper full control settings and ensuring there aren't conflicts like that. Also, make sure you don't have some other plugin also trying to write the descriptions.
