my second work in photoshop

i think this looks very bad but give me some negative feedbacks please...i've worked acouple of hours with photoshop but i dont think graphic design is for me...

 

Actually this is good as its ur 2nd job..
just remove the blue lines and square behind the R and circles..
and PROJECT without the bevels..
It will look good after ..

i took this background off maybe this looks alittle bit cleaner? btw i have tried what you have said but it looked as ugly as it does now

 

I think u misunderstood what i mentioned..
Use same back ground just remove that blue lines behind..
Remove drop shadows and bevels..

thanks for your feedback Muddy unfortunately the background cannot be fixed as i already merged the layers but i did some changes to it, i think it looks alittle bit better now... did the changes you mentioned, please tell me if it looks right.

 

Not too bad. Mostly, I like the gradient and the font. I don't really like the boxes though. Also, I think it's better to keep all the letters in uniform (take off the italic for R).

 

It looks really unprofessional. I'd get rid of the boxes to see how to looks.

 

simply by removing the background will look more simple ..

 

i think its pretty good for your first one but ive always liked the sleek style or really blown out style

anything in etween just looks like it you should be one or the other you know?

As some of you guys said, it's quite good as a second work, but I suggest you to learn by doing tutorials first. It's easier to get the idea of what looks good and why. As they say - practice makes perfect. Keep on movin'. Good luck!

 

The first design was better with the background and letters as they were. Like muddy786 said, just remove the blue lines behind the letters and it would look a lot better.

 

I don't know much about designing but as your starting your job it's look good

 

That is pretty good start, just try to reduce emboss effect.

 

This is a very good design and since this is your second project you can do a lot in your future. Carry on!

 

Not too bad at all in my opinion. Just keep at it and you'l be fine. The key to being a good designer is constantly learning and changing with the times. I still work with designers who are in the dark ages and your work is probably better than theirs!

 

Design looks good..instead of removing why dont you try inserting few more lines in background you may get different view..If you remove the background it really looks very simple..
