    Hello,

Ranking of number of my site keyword has been dropped, the search volume of the same keyword has been also increased by 200%

I want to know where the increase of search volume keywords are the reason of the low ranking ?

    please guide

    Thanks

    Hey Greenman,

An increase in search results won't push you down the rankings but if the area you work in has become more popular then there may be more competition to get to the top.

    Are these UK results?

There has been a lot of strange results going on recently, lots of australian and american results being included. Ne sites tend to be getting the worst of it but older sites are experiencing it too.

It could be that you lost backlinks or if your site is new, then you shouldn't worry, it will come back up.
    Try getting more backlinks.

Perhaps you have to increase the article coverage rate

It seems like Google is using the age of a domain quite a bit in their algos. It seems like every 6 months I have a large jump in the SERPs and my placements are becoming less prone to the Google Dance..

Sometimes a jump in keyword traffic can be a two-edged sword because with more traffic comes more players in the space and its more competitive to get to the top... really all you can do is try to get as many backlinks as possible with relevant content... (and wait)
