Hey Guys, About 6 months ago, I noticed our site has lost more than half of traffic coming from Google. We have not done any SEO work to the site (no onsite or any link building), just let it do its thing as it was fairly consistant in the amoung of SE traffic it has been getting for the last 4 or 5 years. All of a sudden our SE traffic starts declining What I have noticed is that our inner pages (product pages) have seem to have lost rankings. They use to rank on the first page, but now seem to have dropped off to the 2nd, 3rd or 4th page. If I do a search within our country region (not the web), we turn up maybe on the 2nd page for many of our inner pages. Our general keywords we are still on the first page for the homepage. Now I want to get to the bottom of this. Does this look like signs that we have been penalized? Or is it a simple algorithm change? Keep in mind, we have not made any traction in traffic for 6 months and I am extremely worried as no we are losing money. What can I do?
Could be others have been targeting your niche or you have done something naughty but without a link and more info on the strategies you have been using answering is like blowing smoke and hot air into the wind tbh
