my schedule & yours?

I soon hope to launch a paid webhost but I thought i'd do up a little schedule to help keep me on track

    week 1: launch week
week 2: leave support to rot
week 3: let server die a slow painful death week
week 4: send invoices & close down after collection
Note: double invoice anyone who asked questions that were too complicated

on a more serious note this is how most hosts seem to operate these days, my question is why do a half arsed attempt, when you could do it properly and make yourself more money in the process, dont forget that happy customers WILL make you money.

and do us webhosts a favour, if you dont know what you are doing dont even ATTEMPT to start up a host otherwise you will burn it will be a waste of your money and more importanely a waste of OUR money. If your going to do something do it properly and honestly.

Not sure why you wrote this, although I do understand where your coming from. It's sad how most hosts operate in today's world, luckily there are a handful out of the thousands that are truthful.

    Totally agreed with you.
I have too been scammed by 1 webhost that offer reseller package with unlimited space and bandwidth and the payment method is paypal for $300/years.I have paid them $500 for 2 years coz it save me $100.Within 1 week, they go bankrupt and i have lot all my client and money.
The webhost do this is to make quick money. After they go offline, then they will create another webhost company with different name to scam people.

I wote the first part of it for humour to show how most hosts operate these days, but decided to add a more serious note to it. be carefull with these unlimited hosts, for a start its impossible to get unlimited space you can only have as much space as the server has.

I would also be careful buying semi-anually or anually too, I was unfortunately stung $78 by a reseller host whom up until they closed were actually excellent and customer service was good too but they just did a runner :(
