I have a friend who bought an ebook in clickbank through my hoplink...that was 4 days ago...I don't see it post in my account. How did that happen? Can I email clickbank support about this?

COOKIE lost when your friend purchsed the ebook, thus you can't see it. It is normal in cb and you can email cb to ask them to improve tracking system.

    They are shaving like crazy!

    You should not tell them.

Try ask your friend to buy the same product again, and tell him to take a screenshot of each step he takes. Only then you can email clickbank and tell them about it, otherwise they will just ignore you.

Actually they will ignore you anyways but if you have the screenshots you have something "tangible"

in particular, the sales page down the bottom where it should say what the affiliate is ...

of course, there's many places where the cookie could have got lost ... perhaps blocked by adblocking software, or an unscruplous vendor rewriting cookies ...

It is a good idea to ask your friend to purchase again, also ask him to get a refund from the vendor.

it's even better idea to buy it yourself, checking for cookies and aff id on the c/o page with documenting and taking screenshots. Using video capture is even better.

It may be hard but get your freind to re purchase through your hoplink and double check your name is under aff link..

Then get him to get a refund for the first purchase by email CB and say oops I purchased this twice please refund etc..

Also it might be a good idea to see if your freind has his privacy setting on FF or IE set to strict, he might have denied your cookie dropping..

As for shaving I dont buy into CB practicing this, but I guess you never know

I've been reading up on alot about Clickbank over the past few weeks, especially the rip off report thats going around..

It would seem to me that Clickbank isn't necessarily shaving commissions, but that they are conveniently incompetent in that they are in no hurry to improve their tracking system

Clickbank has been shaving the hell out of people. Google it, you'll probably find lots of forums with people complaining about it.

I bet 99.99% of these "clickbank shaves omfg" posts and replies are people with cookies turned off.

I purchased something through my own link and ensured cookies were on and voila a sale posted within minutes.
