Thanks, Potentmix! It's actually my first BANS site, I expected nothing from it as it is not a niche, but it was at least getting some 20-30 natural Google hits per day. That has now dwindled to 0 for the past 3 days.

I'm definitely looking forward to the next BANS for the reason you've stated!! For now, it's back to Adwords.

try take a look at building serps in other engines such as yahoo and msn, they dont seem to have the hatred to aff links of Google does.

things like meta key + desc still seem to hold some substance in the other engines

There still may be a trickle of hope. I think those of us who've been around a while have all had a site seemingly drop out of sight, only to come back within a short time. I don't think three days is sufficient to write a site off. And, of course, we all know the sandbox doesn't exist.

Is there a pre-sale forum specific to BANS?

I set up a network BANS sites a week ago and have made a total of a little over $125 in commissions.

It's my first foray into affiliate marketing.

You can read all about it at GlobalMasterPlandotcom.

You are right about the new account set up fee being the best income. It is hard to make any real money off the ebay commission on fees, BUT it is easy to do and the 97 investment is easy to repay based on the sign up fees alone. I WONDER how many sign ups we will get after the holiday? Here are a couple of my sites

    http://cheapguitarsale.com/
    http://hotcaroffers.com/
    http://harleydavidsonoffers.com/

I will try the more narrow niche. Thanks for the post !

After Looking at the one guitar site, I noticed BANS is running into the same problem I ended up resolving in my own script. Is it really in your best interest to have all your auctions ending within 15 minutes? Granted, I puts some pressure on the buyer and they have to make a quick desicion.

The RSS feed from Ebay gives weird results, even after making certain changes when doing your initial advanced search setup. But what I did, I changed some of the dates around in the string to get a slightly longer auction time.

Darn and I thought you did it to get the bots to crawl the links to all your sites you posted.

I think the new BANS version coming out is supposed to cloak the ebay feeds so Google doesn't slap you.

As you know, BANS connects with the new eBay affiliate system. I haven't converted my old BANS stores yet, but I assume it works well.
