After a month of running auction ads on my site www.myspace-resource.info I report the results. Is it better than adsense? Does it live up to the huge hype?

I have completely given up on AuctionAds. AuctionAds used to be great...it performed much better than Adsense for me, but the last month has been downright embarrassing for AA

Something changed behind the scenes, and I think that's why Jeremy sold it...I think the new owner got the short end of the stick

AuctionAds has grown very quick with it's user base, but has probably had the most problems a site could ever have. It's been down very often indeed.

Ned, you are running auctionads showing auctions about myspace, what did you expect? That's not a "killing" niche for auctionads. You need to know a little better what your visitors need. Let's see, you've a myspace resources site. So your visitors, many of them are not old. They like internet and online things. So what keywords could you use better? simple, just try ps3 (playstation 3), wii, cell phones and related, laptops, and you can also try xbox related. I'm sure, you'll have much better results.

AuctionsAds is a different thing, it's not adsense, you need to think out of the box, you need to think has a reseller, has a affiliate.

But many young people have ebay acounts and or use thier parents credit card and ebay accounts. Young people do buy stuff which is why I have made about $85 in one month but do keep in mind that the site gets a lot of traffic and the results seemed underwhleming when compared to adsense and CPM based ads.

Exactly what i said Ned. I was talking about ps3, wii, etc., but in the keywords of auctionsads. Try some new auctionads units with for example the keywords xbox 360. That will show auctionads about xbox 360. That will give more money, and is a niche that many many people search at ebay auctions.
