My revenue dropped by 100%!!! (that is, I was banned)

Well, I got banned today. It isn't being booted from the BETA that is a HUGE deal, but it's how I'm so helpless as a publisher.

I contacted them about 2 months ago and asked them to check out one of my sites and tell me if it was okay to put YPN on it. They got back to me about a week or two later and said yes.

Today, they ban me for having "adult content" on that site that I requested they check out. So, I called them and explained my situation. The answer?

    "NO."

Seriously, a big loud firm "NO." It made me kinda sad not because I couldn't get back in, but it was such a loud firm NO that I literally almost fell out of my chair.

He said I can just wait til it comes out of beta "in a few months" ....so take that for what you will.

How do they define adult contents? because i have some sexy videos posted on one of my site. No nudity, just beautiful women.

Will that be considered adult content also?

keikor, be careful. They told me that anything AT ALL meant to "arouse" (sexually obviously) in any way shape or form is grounds for a banning.

In particular, it was Adult Friend Finder ads that got me banned. There was no nudity at all in the ads, but apparently when you click them, it takes you to girl's profiles with nudity. Blah, whatever.

I got the e-mail at about 7:30 Eastern. I'm very fortunate that I had a second YPN invite sitting in my inbox, and they said I could re-apply. So I'm back in business! (just not on that one site ;))

I asked them a couple of months ago if bikini video shoots were okay (no nudity at all), and he repeated "anything meant to arouse..." so I removed all of them.

There is a chance you wouldn't get in trouble, but I decided I wanted to take no chance at all.

But I got banned anyway, lol.

Well if you are a advertisment buyer you don't want to spend topdollars
for adsclick on a site promoting sexygirls and know you only getting visitors
looking for sex and don't planing buy stuff.

Personal I think putting ads on site like this is next to fraud.

I'm nt a US citizen & so i cannot try YPN. But i tested it & they approved me in a few days. Newz aorund says that they are good @ payouts.

But it's so sad that they banned you after approving you first. Are you changed the contents?

I am sorry to read that your account was suspended.

And I think we should use the term suspended, because you can get back in later, so you are not "banned" (like the way they permanently "ban" people with that other popular contextual advertising program.)

I have confidence that we'll soon be reading a post from you saying, "I got back in today..."

Chocolate sexually arouses you? Weird. I guess you need to block the ads for those who are sexually aroused by chocolate...

And "ToBad"......fraud? I wouldn't say that....my site had ZERO "arousing" features...except some other ads for adult friend finder.

keikor, PM me with the URL you think it might be, and I'll let you know.

I wonder if I would be banned for having an image of a topless woman, who has a nipple covered but the site has a clinical context.
