I've been testing ListJoe.com recently and just thought I'd share my results with you guys. I sent out 3 different mailings: 1# Used 500 credits Only got about 1 subscriber 2# used 1500 credits I got 20 subscribers 3# used 2500 credits I got 25 subscribers I get about 200 visitors each time I send a mailing. Why the difference? You may say it's because I used more credits...wrong. It was due to my headline being more effective. My headline was "Firstname" Gets 10,000 visitors That headline is very effective and I learnt it recently from the great Jimmy D brown. It automatically creates curiosity and ownership. It's like the reader already has 10,000 visitors, they just need to click the link to find out how. The other reason why mail #2 and #3 worked better is because I changed my promo link. I used my Trippy Traffic website in the email and since it's quite creative and very different to the other opt in pages out there, it grabs peoples attention. So anyway, yes services like ListJoe DO WORK, they're not the best list building method, but the effort is quite minimal
