Your frusterated because your site is not ranked how you want it.. It would just be stupid if they put there consumers ahead of pages with better results.

You are paying for webhosting your not paying to have better results. If you get from like hostmonster or godaddy hosting are you going to get special treatment? hell no. They have millions of sites hosting with them... Everyone is getting what they paid for.. For you that is not enough so maybe you should move to another host so you can make up another reason to have bad results in yahoo or other search engines.

Yeah. I use Yahoo! as my default search engine, and I can honestly say I feel their search results are superior to both Google and Live. To each their own though.

Dude. Straighten your attitude out. You come on here with a "rant" that doesn't tell us much. It's written initially to say that Yahoo!'s search algorithm sucks, and then your supporting argument is that your website dropped in rankings. Not a very strong argument.

To top it off, when people respond to you, your responses have come off as cynical and arrogant. Why don't you stop blaming Yahoo! for having a crappy algorithm, stop wasting energy writing rants on a forum, and work on your site's SEO instead.

Either that, or talk to us in a constructive manner so that we can figure out why your ranking dropped. Assuredly it's not because Yahoo!'s algorithm sucks, it's because something about your site or site's SEO (or lack thereof) is hurting you in the SERPs.

How many backlinks do you have, what's the anchor text on them, how old is your site, how many out bound links do you have, what kind of link neighborhood are you in, what is your niche and how competitive is it, are you targeting the right keywords, what type of on site SEO are you using, etc etc.

These are the questions and answers that will fix the problem. Focus on this stuff and ignore Yahoo! Improving these things will improve your rankings.

I wouldnt of come off that way but I went into the defensive when my integrity is insulted...anyhow Yahoo search results are nothing compared to Google, If you say change the title of your site Google updates their engine with the new title yahoo on the other hand seems to write the site descriptions themselves..
