My prweb press release got me 3 news interviews today.

After reading the prweb threads, I decided to try it out. I wrote myself a nice little release, scored a 4, and sent it out today. I only paid $30 and I have already has calls from 3 local news stations. All of which are coming today for an interview. I would say prweb is worth it... lol.

I have been documenting the entire press release process. You can see it here:

I really like that PR, and I can see how it resulted in Interviews. Just enough info for the reader to become really curious. Ten questions spring to mind right away. Good job, and a solid act to follow.

if you have the resources, the $200 level on prweb is nice. It allows you add text links within your release, and track the stats of the release. I have had very good results from using prweb.

Thats awesome, much better than the results I had with the one press release I put out.

Just hope your company is ok with it, or that you are going to be quitting soon because your making so much ;)

    http://www.prweb.com/releases/2005/11/prweb313180.htm - there you go.

And yeah, Expedia is fine with it. I asked about it before it ever went out.

Interview #1 and #2 done... #3 in an hour. I have the following:

2 minute spot at 6pm on CBS

5 minute spot at 9pm on FOX

3-5 minute spot again at 10pm on CBS

...and this coming interview will air at 10pm on ABC.

Anyone in the southwest missouri area should check them out.

Man that is great !!! I am like the other folks, I submitted to paid press releases to PRweb and I heard from nobody, lol and saw no traffic increases at all.
I seem to get a LOT more traffic and responses from submitting free articles to article sites.

That is really good, I'd be interested to hear how much traffic your tv spots get you after they air.

Well, the first spot just aired (2 minute spot) and went well. I saw a short increase in traffic for about 5 minutes and then it went back to normal. In all about 700 visitors (on top of my normal amount).
