My Proxy Website

I have a new proxy Website (http://matan.me), i was looking for some comments on the design, don't bother pressing the links, they're not working, though the proxy is.

Whats your give on it? i won't do the other pages though yet until i finalize on the design, any idea's/tips/shares? also thinking of a better location for the ad... though this is the only one(location)that i seem to be able to squeeze a click out once in a while.

Good colors. but I dont like to font in navigation also very much space there in page..
you can make the field more wiser with big "GO" button

show something what it can open so visitors will more attract like facebook youtube. orkut or others etc..

    I don't like it.
It is too simple and looks like it was taken from 10 years ago. I think you should better off using the available proxy templates OR get some free css template and modify it to be use with proxies.
That's often how I do it.

Design wise in your header where it says Matan's.... is small and blurry. I would increase the font size on that. The text on the right with each word starting with a different color letter is not good. I would go all blue or all white. The globe in a header is done to death on the internet. I think you need something better there.
SEO wise you are dead in the water. Get a full set of meta tags and put some text on the page to optimize for whatever keyword phrases you want to rank on.
You need to center your content below the header. It is off to the right.
I suggest using your safe image in a favicon.
I don't know about your Alexa rank. It says 1,037?
All in all I think you have a lot of work to do on it. Your question was on design and I personally don't find it very good.
    Sorry to be pessimistic.

I am curious as to what your reworked. I really don't see any changes. Please let me know. I would have a talk with your designer if you are not satisfied. Did you pay them?

I don't think thinner was ever a problem for me. What about the real problems I addressed? The visual presentation is lacking and the SEO is non - existent. You still have blurry text and the content below is still off center. I never found a problem with your colors. I actually like them quite a bit. And how about that favicon LOL?

Definately looks lke something from 1996.
Look for a free css template and setup a small cgi proxy or similar.

I have to say, it isn't that impressive. The look of the site is very simple and old. You may consider changing the look of the site. Sorry.

I think the above feedback is all great advice. The fonts are blurry and unreadable, and the theme itself is out of date. It really needs a proper over haul! good luck!

What do you mean out of date? nobody styles like that anymore out of date?.

btw, the site is hobby project just so you know, i didn't even bother on SEO because i never thought it'll be even worth putting it in google, proxies are WAYYYY to competitive to succeed in google.

make it all black, so it look mysterious like the proxy itself and add some cpm ads also, at least one 728 X 90 at the bottom and one 160 X 600 at the right side. One information widget about your services is also required at the right side

and remove that text ad just inside the main box, that looks like you gonna use your visitors in some way.

    Good luck :)
