bump, i keep reading this thread but i have a question. I had a certain proxy up for about 2 weeks now. i'm applying these tactics to the proxy, but im afraid i think it has already been smart priced. Should i continue with this or start a new site?

Nice little proxy guide. About the adsense tho, I've found programs like adlogger for preventing click bombing don't seem to work, which would be a concern on a proxy if your popular.

Same here. The last four days or so of March I set up a new proxy and was making about $30 per day and then April started and I'm down to $10 with the same amount of traffic and CTR. What's the deal??

Ive never been smart priced so I dont know what you could do. If you take your adsense off for a week or two it will go back to normal.

Ive never used adlogger so I cant help you much with it. I had a proxy getting just under 10k uniques per day and never had problems with click bombing. In fact, I have never experienced click bombing on any proxy I have owned.

finish up with it and leave it on the server. start a new one and compare to see if what you think is true. and keep moving with new ones every day if possible.

these things happen and its up and down. for people like myself that own big networks it hurts. but you have to keep rolling with it as it has happened quite a few times already.

thats the thing, i was planning on haveing a huge network of up to 50 proxies with a Dedicated server next month with my 500$ payment. but.. i own about 11 sites right now and ever since my smart pricing im now making 5-8$ a day, which is pretty bad for 11 proxy sites (one of them is new, and im trying to SEO two of them).

Now if i stay this way and i add 50 more site and say i made 7$ for every 10 sites i would be making only 35$ a day and only 1050$ a month, with server costs of up to 200$ a month. Sure thats all profit mostly but its very time consuming to make 50 proxys, im not sure if there is a rule against just throwing up proxies with similar look and getting banned. So i don't know. But from what i hear from people is that instead of building 50 proxies, is that if i build one or two good ones and SEO them that i could easily make up to 20$ a day just off them each, so i could be making like 40$ a day just of two SEO'd proxies. So i mean the second option sounds better but it could take up to two months to get them SEO'd good.

    What would you do?

I never had more than 5 proxies at a time. SEO on proxies is easy and with 15 link exchanges and on page SEO you can easily get on the first 3 pages of google within a week.

if your going to do 50 on a server SEO will be time consuming. so get a game plan and execute it.

one of my proxys is making 20 a day and others , up and down. so it can be done. you just have to do your homework on the best thing to get it there.

yeah so i think im gonna stick with SEO my proxies, ill keep my 12 sites and just SEO them one by one. But i don't know if my hosting could handle that mucch traffic if it really is true about the search engine traffic for proxies. So we will see.

it is true and if you plan to keep them long term Seo is the way to go.

what server do you have? i can tell you if its ok to hold the amount of sites you want.
