My Proxy Network with too much traffic

    My proxy network includes:
    http://proxysensation.com
    http://wasblocked.com
    http://hidetrace.net
    http://yxorp.us

    Type: Auction
    Start: Now
End: 72 hours from now or at BIN
    Starting bid: $200
    Bid increments: $10
BIN: Not determined yet, open to offers
    Reserve is set.

Accepted methods of payment (in order of preference):
    - Escrow.com (buyer pays fees)
    - Google Checkout
    - PayPal

For Google Checkout and PayPal, if you'd like, we can do a sort of half before, half afterward, or however.

The domains themselves are very valuable. The traffic that comes with it is AMAZING. Read on.

This is a LONG read, but worth it.

I'm looking to make a quick sale, because I'm an 18-year-old college student and these sites are getting more traffic than I ever thought imaginable and I can't afford to pay any more for a server.

About 2 and a half weeks ago, the sites started to get too much traffic for my shared server, and I really wish I had had traffic logging set up for it then. Shortly after that, I moved the site to a cheap VPS at SolarVPS and it could handle the traffic, but not the bandwidth.

Long story short, I had AWStats on that server and it averaged 5000-6000 uniques a day, but I had to take it down from that server because it went over the bandwidth limit of 200gb in about a week. I then moved it to a godaddy VPS which has a huge amount of bandwidth. The first half day, the site got 10,000 visitors, and the next day, the site got 33,356 visitors via Webalizer stats. The bandwidth on that day was 50GB.

I've determined I just can't afford this. So, I need to sell it. It would be a great purchase for an entrepreneur with some money to invest and a Google AdSense account. I can't put AdSense on it because I got banned from it 2 years ago because I had visitors giving faulty clicks on an older site. I'm sure if you had AdSense, it would be worth it.

Please know that due to my crappy servers, my stats programs don't represent all the traffic on most days.

    AWStats on the SolarVPS

Webalizer on the GoDaddy server - Understand that the first and 3rd day shown only contain about 3 hours worth of data.

If you're not aware, Webalizer has been known to record more visitors than AWStats, however, the traffic has been exponentially on the rise. My guess is AWStats would be recording something like 25k a day now. Either way, this traffic is amazing - I just don't know what to do with it.

No...I'm not making anything right now because it's ad free.

Yeah, that sounds dumb, but I just made Proxy Sensation to bypass the filters at my high school, lol. I had picked up the other domains for resale and decided to point them at the same site too and as I said, about 2 and a half or 3 weeks ago it just took off. I never really expected anything like this.

I just don't have the time (or the know-how) to go about finding direct advertisers. AdSense would be great, but they screwed me over (as explained above). Don't worry though, this site is not banned from AdSense, it's my account.

You can block all this chinese traffic and keep the sites using much less bandwidth or sell link ads or banners on proxified pages while keeping chinese traffic

this will monetize this huge traffic in a good way

Which of these has the most traffic and would you consider selling them off individually?

Thanks for your advice Tech Entrance, I've been told that by others as well. I'll have to consider that as an option. Optimally, it would be nice just to get some advertisers and not have to lose any traffic, in my opinion.

@gootecks: I don't want to sell them individually. ProxySensation.com has the most traffic by far (probably 90%+).

I've decided to hold onto the sites for a couple of weeks to gather some good statistics for a better basis of selling. Let me know if you'll be interested then.
