I'd like to use expired/aged domains from godaddy for me seo sites, however i see the following problem: I buy pr2+, 2+ years old, 100+ links, link profile clean in majestic and ahrefs, indexed in google. The problem is that the domains don't even rank for their unique domain name. For example: domain mynewexpdom.com doesn't rank for kw mynewexpdom. Is this a problem ? When i rebuild the site under that domain will it regain strength ?
Maybe it didn't rank in past because it never had rankable quality content, or maybe it didn't rank because of very high competition (keyword domain is not guaranteed to rank 1 regardless of the competition). Do not care much about the history, if you build quality content now on, you will rank now on. Moreover, if the backlinks are relevant (means related to the content you are going to develop) they will be re-indexed making it easier to rank fast.
