Hi I am new here, I was reading this post, my blog hosted on blogspot is in supplemental page. But it has a PR of 4. 1. May be I have to check the number of backlinks that it has got in recent months. 2. Is there any way I can check my blog's back links on Google? 3. On blogspot, is it possible to use meta information for all pages? 4. Can I do different meta information to differnet blog entires 5. can I change the archived headlines for categories for my blog. Lot of them are same content. Like: 'Blog Archive' comes is the archived headline, where in I can see that in other unsuccessfully blogs they have archived it like this: Blog Name_Month Name_Year_Analysis or Blog Name_Category name_Month-Archives. 5. I dont give much out going links to other authority blogs/sites (better PRs) and since my blog is on greeting cards mostly give links to one greeting card site only, its easy, comes in feed, thats y. Does Google count the outbound links also?? It does not have any adsense.
Do you have original content ? The URL and linking structure does play a role too, but content is the first basic thing. The pages that are weak are in supplemental, and so build links to them in order to eradicate the problem
I also had 70% of a site in supplemental results although my structure was seo friendly, unique content. I read more about the subject and managed to have some strong page rank back links. After about 2 weeks, the pages were reindexed and reincluded in the main index.
I don't think he's able to do that if his blog is hosted in blogger. Blogger expert, correct me if I am wrong.
Loads of blogs on free blog hosters recently were shifted to supplemental, it's not just blogspot. It seems to affect very huge and strong sites, squidoo was first, hubpages suffered as well, blogspot and some other followed...probably to make it harder for spammers ?! Strong links and deeplinking are definately the way to go.
