My PR3 websire suddenly lost major keyword ranking.

I've noticed just today that my PR3 website lost all of the keywords that I'm ranking good these past few months.

My website is cannot be found on the top keyworkd on my webmaster's tools. The only way I can see it on the SERP is to type the direct url of my website.

Is this normal? and will it back to normal again after few hours? days? weeks?

Does anyone here also experienced this before? I'm losing so much traffic and income :(

    Thanks!

Is it normal? You tell us? How long did you rank for that keyword?

Google is constantly changing stuff and websites go up and the spammy ones generally go down.

I'm holding those main keywords of my website's niche for almost 5 months now. What surprising is it's not only the main keywords that were lost but everything.

I will not get a PR3 if my website is spammy in the 1st place.

Like what I said the only way my website will appear in SERP is by typing the exact url.

It is not normal, no. Have done things like hidden text, hidden links, cloaking, duplicate content or other 'tricks'? If not, then most likely the issue is temporary and beyond your control. You can only wait it out. If you have done any of those things, fix it and file a reinclusion request.

Yep... search is constantly changing. Like Tuna in a Dolphin Net sometimes you get caught unintentionally.

    Hi, irule272

I think your site in your signature has been punished by Google and you could find the result via seopenalty.com. Google might have un-indexed your site. I think you might want to find out what is the reason behind this and ask Google for a re-included.

    All the best,

AirForce1 is that website legit? I mean is that affiliated to Google?

Or just someone made a script that checks if a website have been penalized or not basing on some aspects of seo?

How come they just updated my PR from none to 3?

No, They will not give me a PR3 if I do keyword spamming.

I still can see my website's url on the automatic dropdown suggestion on the searchbox, AFAIK google only gave that to reputable and established websites.

    Right now I'm still wondering.

Be sure that you are logged out of google when checking the SERPs, also disable search history top right of serps page.

Other than that, this just happened, so it could just be Google sorting and pushing data around it's databanks.

I would wait a few days before panicking. If you are losing income, then this is a good lesson that no one should
depend on ONE site for income. Diversify.

Without given URL then here are my assumptions on your dropped ranking and possible reasons.

    1. Your site has being trapped in Google filter. If your site has more than two years old or have done over optimization. Your site is likely to be filtered out from some keywords for a period of time. You have to build up links consistency and trying to keep your link profile balanced.

    2. Your site has too little link popularity and competitors come over your site.

    3. Your site has a little old aged. "Sandbox" effect might in place for now.

    4. Your site has average amount of links but most of them are little to non-quality links.

    5. Your site has been penalized for selling links.

    6. Your site has been penalized due to malware infection.

    7. Your site has little to non unique contents. Or your site just a content scraper from other sites.

    8. You have done on cross linking among websites owned by you and the plan has been found out by Google.

    9. Your site has a lot of 404 Error pages (Not Found).

    10. Your hosting may not reliable and your site had a long downtime before.

1.) My website is only 6 months old.

3.) This same situation already happened to me when this website is about 1 month old only. I believed that, that's the sandbox that they're talking about. After building quality backlinks from high PR'ed website. They began to re-index my website again and everything just got back to normal which they said that I'm already out of the sandbox. Normal re-indexing of this website continued until the other day.

5.) I'm monetizing it using CPAlead, do you think they didn't like website with gateway on it ?

9.) Based on the Google's websmasters tool, I didn't have a page with 404 error.

    10. ) My website is hosted in Hostgator.

Other statement you posted I think is redundant already because just like what I said, They just updated the PR of it from none to PR3.

6 months old is certainly "new" in the web site world. It is a cause for concern, but daily shifts are very common. In 2 weeks I would certainly surmise something bad happened to your rank, but day-to-day changes are expected.

A thousand times since pagerank exists, that's a typical Google behaviour.
