    May be it is coincidence, but i doubted because google has soft corner for china. Google Music search launched recently ONLY in China, and Google bends its privacy rules and censorship rules to satisfy the Chinese regime. So I kind of suspiocious there.

    It is linking with not just one site that matters and If you have linked to a Chinese site and that site has not linked to yours then your page rank should drop instead of increasing.

    Thanks for all the replies. That site did not link back to me. But it was relevant to the topic, so I linked to that Chinese site. It looks like coincidence, but I am not that sure.

    It doesn't matter if the site is Chinese or Indian, or English, or anything else. If the link have good PR value, it'll definitely contribute to your PR.
