Possible reasons: a. Link buying/selling b. Sandbox? c. copyrighted content. d. Nofollowed homepage? Also, I have a question: Is seopenalty.com a trustable source? What are the factors the tools check?
Search Engine Journal just did a post about how to figure out if your site is being hit with a Google penalty - http://www.searchenginejournal.com/is-your-site-under-google-penality/19758/. Have you checked whether your site is still indexed in Google search, how your keywords are ranking, etc.? This would be a strong indicator of whether you are being heavily penalized. A loss in PR could be for any reason, including Google thinking you are selling links to bad optimization (keyword stuffing, duplicate meta data, etc.). Or it could simply be that you lost some powerful backlinks to your site, like if you had several backlinks from high PR domains that are no longer in existence. Google offers the option for you to contact them through Webmaster Tools to plead your case - make sure your website follows all of their guidelines first, make any changes that may be violating their guidelines, then contact them and let them know what steps you have taken to ensure that your site is fully compliant with their terms.
I would lean towards some kind of penalty as well. What's more concerning for me, is it seems all your inner pages have a greyed-out PR, which is worse than PR 0
Google updated Page Rank at April 3rd so you were not full fill the Google Algorithm that's Why Your PR goes down
As per yahoo site explorer "http://www.pubarticles.com/" has 81532 back link ,where as domain age in only 1 year. It seems that back link is not generated natural way .Some blackhat technique already used. You know it better than any one else. Change all passwords.hosting account password, ftp password, database password, follow "nofollow" tag for our going link for one month time period and submit the issue in "Google webmaster world" forum through you domain control panel.
Maybe its sandboxed or penalised. What about your internal pages PR ? Has it changed too ? Have you done any link selling in any of your pages on this site ?
Google doesn't penalize duplicated content. But maybe you are Spamming your links so your site got penalized.
Hi, gina222114 According to seopenalty.com, your site is very high penalty by Google. I think you might want to work out if you are like to some bad neighbors or having some gray SEO factors on your site. All the best,
Looks like a penalty. Check google guidelines and make changes to your site. read How to find penalty
yes I saw that your site is being penalized by Google for duplicate content and it is very severe. please remove any paid links and copied content in order to overturn the penalty.
You might have used some artificial techinques / bot to dominate the current PR This also happened to me. I had a PR 6 site that was demoted to PR 2 then again regained it back after few months
