I like the site, the one thing that confused me was the four pictures on the right on the home page. I wanted to be able to click them on the home page and make them larger instead of having to go to the portfolio then check them out.

 

Here's my 2 cents:

The site is laid out fairly well but much can be improved.

For a designer site I would expect that you would have a killer logo. I don't see one there. . . so I would definitely invest time to make a logo.

Also your menu is vertical when it really could be horizontal.

The border encompassing the content is rather thick . . .it could be reduced.

Also when clicking on your portfolio the headings that show up (web design) etc, have a new font which makes things seem awkward . . . stick to a few simple fonts).

You should include information about what you've designed in your portfolio. Who was it designed for, how did you do it etc.

Lastly I don't like the name (this is a matter of preference) it's just that since you have the name Shady in a business name I wonder how many people will avoid doing business because of that (and that's not to say you are a crook but it might frighten some people away).

Anyway a few things to think about.

I think the site looks ok and it's easy to navigate but I think your logo could be better.

 

Very innovative design indeed. However, I would change the body text to white from light pink.

I know that many time less is more but when I look at your site I got the feeling that I'm locked in a box. I would expect from a great designer to open the world for me that I should feel already at the first sight.

and that pink text.. hmm you should try css there i think with different font style..

just don't forget to change title of every page...
