It's still in the design stage but I'd like to have some criticism before I begin to code it all. The written aspect is still being edited. http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj244/Joel1st/changeofsite.jpg?t=1289401804 All comments are welcomed and appreciated.
Wow, I really love it. Great design and the layout is great, too. Loving the colours. The way you have the navigation menu setup is my favourite part though, it's kind of reminiscent of coral.
You have made very good desings, I really like your designs you can make more and submit to portfolio and i am sure you will get lots of work from dp
I like work done by you , very good and professional work, I wish i can make good design like this for me too. Great work
1. Maybe it would look more attractive if you play more extreme with effect. The gradation (box shadow) below that header looks so lack. you must reduce the opacity below that big header box to make that shadow effect more visible. 2. The border was very lacking. You should further optimize the 1px border to produce elegant 3d line 3. You may add another effect such as "Noise" on background. *** Hanya saran
I really do wish I knew what you meant. I only understand your third point haha (which I will play around with.) Also, I appreciate everyone elses comments, Thankyou.
Well done. Very nice and simple. Like the text in the middle. With the fonts on the top menu and the middle, I would use just plain white with no effect because it offers better contrast especially on a colored background.
Neat and professional. Good mix of colors that makes the site lively and enhances its aesthetics. I must mention about the navigation. Too good. Keep up the good work.
Hi! Yeah , the overall design is extraordinary : simple , clean , functional . How do you guys come up with such great idea? One thing I noticed though ... the type on the lower side of the page : "Read More" and the article headline "A little more about ..." is different then the one on the upper side of the page . Did you choose that on purpose or was that something that was done with other things in mind? I personally like the upper font better
I've made some small changes to the site. http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/317/0/a/portfolio_home_page__by_joel1st-d32qmg1.jpg Umm, I couldn't find any 'Read More' text on my site, but I'm going to assume you were referring to 'Recent Works'. I used two different fonts on this site. Tahoma and Handwritten dakota (or something along those lines). I used Tahoma for the most part (headings + textual content + navigation) because it is a font that can be used for web design as almost all viewers have the Tahoma font installed on their computer. The handwritten font (used for logo and phone and email adress) use that font because they will be images on the webpage and therefore are primarily for aesthetic appeal. So pretty much to achieve good onsite SEO I used tahomo so that the search engine can see it, and Handwritten dakota for a visual appeal when people get on my site. I hope that makes sense/answers your question
nice color combination with border too,so that it has an extra look to watch, which is impressive factor to your web.
Very visually appealing. The colors really pop and would have certainly drawn me in to learn more about your company if I were in the market for a design firm.
