    What do you think of my placement?

    I am still trying to get the colours right but they are nearly there.

    That's not bad. The colours are well blended. I'd experiment with inserting blocks into the actual posts.

    The CTR is pretty bad on it though.

    I get quite high CTR on my InfoLinks advertising. Do you think that its drawing people away from the Google Ads?

    Think about making the adverts more prominent, like in this post: dailywritingtips.com/spasmodic
    Notice how uncluttered that page is in comparison to yours. There is a clear route to clicking on teh ads, whereas on your pages, there are too many options.
