What do you like the least about the design?

simple and clean, there is not really a lot of design involved but for a personal website I give it thumbs-up!

I like the look of your page except I think it could use a more significant banner ...one that, amongst other things, includes a photo of you since the blog is about "your" knowledge/research.
As it is, the graphic is upstaging the show. Do you really wanna tolerate that kind of bullying ?
Don't worry, I already know you value a "clean" and humble look but there's no room in advertising/promotion for humility. Besides, you've got a good look, so why not GO with it?
A photo like the one in your profile image will do fine. Just use Photoshop to isolate yourself from the background, crop it from a "bow tie" level and reduce the exposure about 10 to 15 percent.
One more thing, drop in a custom "subject-relevant" photographic background behind the scrolling part of your page. In my humble opinion, all that beige is "too much of a good thing".

Thanks Dennis. I've been thinking about monetizing my blog and I very much like the idea of an across top background. I just need to find the right one.

 

There is not lots of design but that is enough for personal site.and my personal opinion is its too good blog.

 

Very simple design. In my opinion try other theme, but some people like simplified designed blogs
