My PC is not booting - Please help

I was working on my PC in the morning and when I completed my work I pressed Start > Turn Off Computer > Turn Off, the window was just saying Windows is Shutting Down but even after 15-20 seconds it was not getting shut down so I manually pressed the Power button on CPU and turned it off.

Now when I am turning the PC On, it is not getting started

CPU is ON but no display on Monitor.

Can anyone please tell me what went wrong? and how can I fix it?

insert the window cd in the cd drive and try again . if still problem not solved then follow the steps
    1. restart your pc
    2. it may show you an option of boot from the cd if it display then press enter if it doesnot display then restart your pc again and press DEL key again and again till you get boot menu. then you have to change boot priority. set it to cd/dvd rom then save the setting and try again.
    3. it will load some files. then ask you to repair or reinstall the whole window. then press ctrl+alt+del your pc got restarted. don;t press any key. if your problem solved then ok otherwise repair your window.

check the cable of the monitor maybe it have just got unplugged... if it's not, check the graphics card and make sure it's in it's place perfectly..
if that's all didn't work maybe your monitor have been damaged so take it to a specialist

This happens when there is dust over your ram or your ram has been moved..

Simple take out your ram , clean in and insert it again.

    Your prob will be solved.:)

    There might be many reasons.
If you had solved such problem before, try to solve the problem yourself.
If you are not sure if you can repair it, you'd better find someone to help you and learn how to solve similar problems.
